How to remove 87% of toxins from your air at home?
Updated: Dec 10, 2021
When it comes to air quality in your home I commonly recommend a good hepa filter like the Austin brand. However there is another good alternative that many people are already doing, although they may not be aware of the benefits.
This includes filling your home with house plants. NASA has found that some species of houseplants can eliminate up to 87 percent of toxins from the air, including formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, trichloroethylene, carbon monoxide and even dust. The best plants found to be the most effective for optimal air quality include: English ivy, spider plants and the Boston fern. One or two plants won't make that much difference, so it's recommended to have many plants through-out your home.
It would also be prudent to ensure that you open your windows on a daily basis to maintain a free circulation of fresh air throughout the home. Your lungs deprived of air, will be like a hungry person deprived of food. Indeed, we can live longer without food than without air, which is the food that God has provided for the lungs.
As one renowned and wise health author, Ellen G White, states, " The strength of the system is, in a great degree, dependent upon the amount of pure, fresh air breathed. If the lungs are restricted, the quantity of oxygen received into them is limited, the blood becomes vitiated, and disease follows" (The Health Reformer, February 1, 1977. {HL 175.5}.
Have a lovely day all and take time to enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and blooms of heaven wherever life may take you today.
